About Me

I am a writer, educator, and microbiologist based in Brooklyn, NY. I received my Ph.D. in Microbiology from UC Berkeley, and have written news, feature articles and fictional short stories for various media organizations and institutions.

As a science educator, I leverage my scientific training and deep understanding of science culture to coordinate and develop research training programs and academic initiatives for basic, translational and clinical scientists across the education continuum, from high school to senior faculty.
